Frig doesn’t work on gas when its warm outside.

I thought I had this fixed, but the problem came up again.

REVIEW

When we bought the Southwind,  we were told the didn’t work on gas. When we tested it at home, It worked OK on electric and seemed to intermittently work on gas.  After a one week shakedown cruise I decided to buy a control board for it to see if that would fix the intermittent gas problem..  After replacing the control board it appeared to work on gas. CURRENT

A couple weeks ago, we started our winter migration traveling southwest,  the frig worked OK on gas for the first couple days. As we got into warmer weather, it seemed like the frig would work for a little bit,  then go into the “CHECK” mode.  At one of our stops,  I would clear the check mode, relight the frig, and withing a few seconds,  it would extinguish and go back into check mode.

It seemed like it would act up when the outside temperature was above 60 degrees.  I decided to order a new thermocouple.

Replacing the Thermocouple was fairly easy,  I removed the entire burner assemble (one screw) made the job easy.

With the new thermocouple, it once again seems like its working,  even above 60 degrees,  I’ll get a better feel for it o\in a couple weeks when we hit the road again and head out to the west coast.
