Great weekend for working on Southwind

Weather was great,  so got a lot accomplished on the Southwind.

REAR TRIM
Replaced the rear trim above the water compartment door.  This was damaged by previous owner.  I bought 3 ft of used trim and cut it, fixed the door,  and in stalled the trim pieces.  Looks good.

FRONT SHOCKS
Got the front shocks replaced.

BRAKE PADS
I was going to replace the brake pads on all four wheels,  but when I looked at the pads,  they appeared new, no wear and no water brittleness.

OIL CHANGE
Changed the oil and filter

GREASE JOB
Got all 9 points on the front end and the 4 U-joints.

FRONT LEVELER JACK
Removed the front jack,  disassembled it, and

TIRES
Two of the rear tires are 2008 codes,  the other two are 2012 codes , the front are the same, 2012 codes.

I’ll buy two new tires,  put them on the front,  and move all the 2012 tires to the rear.

ROOF VENT PAINT
Painted the roof vents, AC covers, and frig cover.   They look much better now.

TRAILER PLUG
Checked voltage on trailer plug.  I had problems with tail lights on toad.  I modified the toad cord to match the Southwind.

NEW REAR VIEW CAMERA
I ran the wires for the new rear camera.  Power to the camera.  Also ran a RG58 coax for TPMS, in case I wire it.

OHMED OUT CABLE TV
Ohmed out the coax for the cable TV.  I need to install connectors on one end.

From the water bay,  one goes to the front and is labeled AT.  This is the normal cable TV connection, that can also be used as a satellite antenna connection.

The other cable goes to the living room connector.  Not sure why,  but the previous owner installed it.

REMOVED UNUSED INTERNAL BATTERY CABLES
The previous owner had house battery cable connectors under the passenger seat.  I removed these.
